BD Upset punch / dwijibo jirugi

Dwijibo jirugi / upset punch is performed in a side-circling motion, and strikes with the fist slightly above the elbow – the biceps muscle is much stronger when it is contracted in this way. The punch shouldn’t be an upward slapping motion, nor should it be directly forward from the ready position, nor should the fist come from behind the performer’s body. Here I’m demonstrating with hiptwist but in patterns such as Kwang-Gae tul this isn’t done.
