BD Classes of Kick #3 The Chop

For clarity of performance and ease of practice I divide the Chang Hon Taekwon-Do kicks into five classes. I call the third class of kicks The Chop. These kicks chop downwards or “un-chop” upwards. The use the muscles in the front and rear of the hip to drive a straight legged kick. Examples include front rising kick, downward kicks, reverse turning kicks and straight kicks.
